The NCR 594 Project is a community service project focused on increasing leadership skills and building social capital in underserved communities. The project will focusing on leadership development, community organizing, and effective communication to help residents, workers, and activists striving to improve their communities. The project will provide mentorships to provide ongoing assistance, allowing participants to develop their individual leadership skills and styles. The goal of these activities is to build support for a comprehensive community assessment using a community-based participatory research strategy.
